Structured Cabling is a set of standards that determine how to wire a facility for connectivity to support communications between various applications and systems. These standards define how to lay the cabling in a star formation, such that all outlets terminate at a central Data Center, from where it can be determined exactly how these connections will be used. Structured Cabling is designed to carry voice, data and video signals throughout a commercial or residential environment. Our capabilities enable us to provide voice/data/video cabling systems transmitting up to 10G to the desktop to data center infrastructure services that include detailed engineering to complete installation build. We adhere to EIA/TIA, IEEE, BICSI, and Local codes and standards.
Fiber Optic cabling & Fiber to the Home (FTTH)
As technology improves and demands to do more work with less money and resources in the enterprise or demand for faster bandwidths in the data centre or users, the solution is provided by Fibre Optic networks such as Storage Area Network, fiber trunking and HHTP Passive Optical Networks. With Fibre Optic, not only will you save money over copper wires, but they’re also easier to install and take up less space.
However, FTTH is a broadband network architecture using optical fiber to provide all or part of the local loop used for last mile telecommunications by Service Providers to residents or commercial customers.The cost of transmitting a single phone conversation over fiber optics is only about 1% the cost of transmitting it over copper wire. The biggest advantage of optical fiber is that it is truly a Multimedia platform and it support not just only voice services but also data and video on just a single strand of fiber.
All new residential and commercial constructions are now require to have FTTH.
An electrical installation’s earthing system determines how a power supply’s (usually a transformer) neutral is connected to earth.
